Liam Bennett Ferenac was born on October 11th 2024 and died on October 16th 2024. Baby Liam had a rare disease called ARPKD. See his journey on IG @arpkd_babyferenac

Liam has taught me so many things. Below I've listed three:

  1. Some people need very little time to fulfill their purpose while others need many years. Liam only needed 5 days.

  2. Perspective is a gift. Prior to Liams death I had no idea that people all around me have been through tragic and traumatic situations and their pain is silent and hidden.

  3. Patience takes effort and the effort is worth it. I found out Liam had ARPKD at 24 weeks pregnant but had to wait until birth to know if it was mild or severe and if he would live or die. Nothing could feel like a long wait compared to that. And I learned that the wait should be cherished. He was okay during that wait. He could hear my voice and feel my love and he was alive.
